Forecasts for ski resorts worldwide including Raise.
Forecasts for our neighbouring fell to the north - usually more accurate but not so readily decipherable as Snow-Forecast. Add a degree or two Celsius for our tow (which is lower). All you need to make sensible and safe decisions before going onto the fells. The site merges the Met Office's own data for different heights with the Weatherline fell-top assessors' report to spell out what the numbers all mean in practical terms. An excellent one-stop shop, particularly before you come up for the first time.
Mountain Weather Information Service
Includes the whole of Cumbria, and also the western Pennines North from Ingleborough.
Each year, usually between December and March, fell-top assessors walk to the top of Helvellyn or nearby peaks to take photos and report on ground conditions.
