We've had a mechanical and the cable is off the bull wheel at the top of the tow. Until we get this fixed nothing's happening. We will need to tie the cable off at pylon 5, drop the bullwheel forward and get the cable back on before re-tensioning. It's a few hours work and we're going to need plenty...

With very high winds forecast for Sunday, it was surprising to see such a good turnout of members in the car park. We all trudged up through the rain, which turned to sleet by the time we got to the top of the zig zags and met the full force of the forecast winds.

Bernie's funeral took place Monday 3rd February 2014.
